Coral Oasis and Stitches Midwest

Hey Dolls,
I wanted to share a look with you that  I wore to Stitches Midwest.  Let me share something about myself......I have  a million hobbies and I love DIY!  I purchased a ticket to Stitches Midwest which is a yarn and fiber convention...let me just say is was AWESOME!  Here is a look I did using one little palette with a lot of sparkle.

Maybelline EyeStudio Color Plush Shadow Quad, Coral Oasis
This little Palette can be purchased HERE for $6.95

The Deets
Ingredients: This DOES contain Methylparaben, Ethylparaben!

Color Payoff- This is a great color combination for any skin tone however I would have liked a more intense color.  I had to layer these shadows on to get this look.  Yay for lighter skin tones...more work for darker or darker skin tones apply this with a base.

Longevity-After layering on all this eyeshadow it fades!!! Ack  By the end of the conference my lids were not as saturated.  I applied my makeup on at 11 left the conference by 3:30.

Creasing-None

Fallout-some fallout so tap your brush

Review-Eden BodyWorks Natural Hair Products

Greetings Dolls,
I have been trying the hair products I picked up the 2nd Annual Beauty Expo, lets take a look at Eden BodyWorks.
Eden BodyWorks was found by a frustrated 13 year old!  That's Amazing!  The company uses no Petroleum, Mineral Oil or Sodium Sulfates.  I of course didn't see any parabens either.

$6 at the Beauty Expo!  That was a steal for the size of these products.

You can definitely see the ingredients in this product especially if you re use to using shea butter coconut oil. This product has tea tree oil in it.  Sensitive noises may not like the camphor smell.

This curl *defining* creme is very thick!  Let me say--- I did not use this as it was designed---I used is to twist my hair. I can not speak to this product as a curl define creme in a wash n go.  It smells lovely, you need very little of this.  I twisted my after washing it and it felt very firm with no buildup.

This is something....in a goodway!  It will slick your hair back like you have a relaxer!

The consistency is hard to describe as you can see from the photo its like a clear pomade.

Here's a pic of my twist definition:
I washed my hair with the Jojoba Monoi Shampoo it felt like it half oil have cleanser.  Not a bad thing just noticeable to the hand sensors.  The shampoo is very cleansing and stripping which works great for me since I wash every 2 weeks or for product build up. You can rub your hair from front to back and hear it squeak.  Your scalp and hair WILL be clean.  I applied the Leave In which smelled great and it also added softness. After the first week my hair remained uber moisturized. I was very pleased.  I re-twisted it again with a teensie weensie bit of the Curl Defining Cream and restyled it.  Sorry no pic of twist out but I have to keep my hair in a protective style in order to work out!  Marley Braid Hair to the rescue!

Overall:  So far I am liking Eden Bodyworks.  My hair has remained moisturized after 6 days at the gym!  My twists were extremely defined.   I will follow up in a few weeks to sum it all up.

2nd Annual Natural Beauty Expo

Greetings Dolls,
I hope everyone is have an awesome week.  Over the weekend  I was a vendor at the 2nd Annual Natural Beauty Expo coordinated by the Lovely Rachel Odem of Rachel O' Beauty.com.

The shows headliner was Lisa Price creator Carols Daughter.  Lisa shared her hair story beginning as a kitchen mixologist, never giving up and encourages the attendies to support one another.

Karen Tappin of Karen's Body Beautiful spoke and shared how important it is to know your ingredients and how harmful they can be to Afro textured hair.  Things such as Parabens, Sulfates are found in Cancer cells.  She made to mention that some ingredients put in our hair products are the same ingredients found in anti-freeze!
Karen and Rachel Odem

Kiley from Big Girl Cosmetics also demonstrated a makeup application, shared her application skills and encouraged us to follow her in the social media relm.

Even though I was a vendor I had a great time and enjoy the education that Rachel O Beauty events have to offer.  Rachel's events begin on time, very organized, great sponsor and most of all she delivers the education.
 Here was the goodie bag:

Even though I was a vendor I had a great time and was introduced to some new products.  I highly recommend events from Rachel O Beauty!

Inglot Looks

Hey Girls!
I had a chance to play with my Inglot eyeshadows all week.  Although I have many shadows from different brands in order to give adequate wear review I felt I needed to wear the shadows for a least a week.  It also gave me the chance to try different looks.
One thing I look for that is second to ingredients would be longevity.  I don't have to be looking haggard by the end  of the day!  I have a long day up I'm up at 4:30am makeup on by 8am makeup and then its off by 7pm.

Look 1

Basic Everyday Neutral. This look is simply Gorgeous!  Perfect for ANY skintone. This look will be my staple neutral eye.  The look has just enough shimmer to make the eyes pop but not to dramatic allowing for everyday wear.

Review - Inglot Cosmetics-Neutrals

Hello Beauties,
I have a review to share with you! ....Inglot Cosmetics.  Inglot is a Polish cosmetic company that offers high quality, paraben free pigmented shadows at a great price.  Eye looks coming this week, I had electrolysis this morning so no makeup today.  Now off to the review!

330 Matte-light peachy matte build-able.
397 Pearl- smooth peachy shimmer great for brow highlighter
409 Pearl-Beautiful shimmer highly pigmented
360 Matte-dusty brown matte shower
327 Matte -dark brown great crease/brow color. Its close to Mac Espresso
500 Double Shine-dark brown with glitter
421 Pearl-bronze with shimmer.... I heart this one!
451 Pearl Metallic silver-great for a smokey eye
391 Matte Black-great for outer V. Not as black as MUG Corrupt but it does the job in the outer V.

Inglot sells these eyeshadows part of there Freedom System.  The eyeshadows are sold in magnetic pans and in 5 finishes:
***Matte-Dull shine
***Pearl- Satin Finish
***Double Sparkle-Satin Base with fine glitter
***AMC- means "advance makeup component" this finish is sweat resistent, talc               free and contaings vitamin.  It has more shine with fine glitter
***AMC Shine-sae as AMC but more glitter.

When you go on their website its a NIGHTMARE!!!!!  Go and see...its super confusing no swatches and animated shade colors....ACK!  Rant finish.  However you can purchase these shades at Beautylish thanks to You Tuber Melmphs for this mention.    Awesome sight they even have REAL swatches for fair skin and deep skin.  Did I mention these highly pigmented shadows are only $6!  Yup Inglots six dollar eyeshadows contain 2.7 grams while Mac contains 0.05. Inglots also has their own palette configurations too.   I do want to get a few for travel but I wanted to stay within budget so I opted for the shadows instead!
5 Square
20 Square
I actually put mine in my Z palette instead.

Bottom Line:
I will definitely purchase more Inglot eyeshadows from......Beautylish only, lol.

Pros:
Paraben Free
Highly Pigmented
Comparable to Mac
Larger than Mac
Available in refill Pans already magnetized

Cons:
Inglots Website is not shoppable as you can not determine the true shade colors.

Later dolls! Stay tuned for eye looks this week!
